ABOUT ME…
My husband Marc and I relocated to Pengilly 2 years ago to
be closer to family. We have 4 children and a grand-daughter. I initially
obtained my Real Estate license in Canada in 1978 and have since become
involved in the management of capital businesses in Minnesota and the Caribbean
Islands. I recently joined RE/MAX Thousand Lakes in Grand Rapids. The team is
extremely experienced and knowledgeable and it is always nice to be part of a
winning team! Therefore, if you are looking to buy, sell or invest in real
estate, don’t hesitate to call me today (218)
969-8855 or (218) 259-6600. I would love to serve you.
The 40th Annual Grand Rapids Jaycees Home and Sport Show is

held at the Minneapolis Convention Center from March 27th to April 1st . Don’t miss these events!

proud to be in full presence at these shows promoting our listed properties.
PENGILLY SOUTH UPDATE ON QWEST INTERNET
As many of you remember, last fall I went from house to
house collecting signatures to show Qwest the interest of our neighborhood to
have Internet DSL. I sent over 35 signatures to Qwest in Minneapolis. I was
informed that their headquarters in Colorado thought that it was not “worth”
the investment at this time. According to them, we are looking at another
potential 2 years, which is a real shame. Many children need the technology to
accomplish schoolwork. Qwest is, unfortunately not eager to invest in “rural”
areas.
On the other hand, Sprint is extending coverage with their
new EV-DO network which is the internet via the cell towers at high speed. Although they currently have mobile broadband
in place that is faster than dial up, it doesn’t compare to DSL or cable. The new EV-DO will surely give it fierce
competition. I will continue to monitor
the market and will keep you posted.

ONE OF OUR OWN…
Tom Waseleski is one of our own. Tom lives in Pengilly with
his 3 children, Tom Jr., Michael, and Susan. Tom is the heart of the glass
business at Beltline Body & Glass in Hibbing. He offers glass replacement
for all vehicles, deals with all insurance companies and offers a mobile
service. For all the residents of Pengilly, Tom will either have your vehicle
picked-up or will come right on site to replace your glass (if weather
permits). Don’t hesitate to give him a call at 263-8711 or on his mobile, 966-2818.
What else should you know about the Waseleski family? They are racers, Late Models, and have
enjoyed great success on the racetrack!Dad started in the ‘80s, Mike and Tom Jr. started racing last year,
sharing a car they purchased together. They modify their own cars and this year
they will have their own car, all racing against each other. What a
thrill! Join them, starting in May, at
Hibbing Raceway. The Waseleski’s are always looking for sponsors. Don’t hesitate
to give them a call.
Cheers to one of our own!
